La Collaborative is made up of l’Agence Culturelle Grand Est, l’OARA Nouvelle-Aquitaine, l’ODIA Normandie, Occitanie en scène and Spectacle Vivant en Bretagne. These 5 regional agencies for the development of the arts and culture principally concentrate their work on live performance, sharing the same vision of working in public service for culture.

Even though they may have different missions, they have a shared commitment : enabling live performance tours and directly supporting artists, both within and outside their region, with a combination of resources (information, advice, developing company strategy, networking) and financial support for the creation and/or touring of work.

The principal objectives of la Collaborative :

– Increase practical cooperation for touring, enhancing the visibility of companies and their shows, at national and international level.
– Create a space for dialogue to enable the sharing of experiences and the pooling of resources in order to better support artists
– Develop a common approach and shared vocabulary for people working in the profession and for local authorities
– Be innovative and use a transversal approach, encouraging experimentation and diversifying ways of working
– Increase public policy support for the arts so that everyone benefits
